The Christmas lights turn on is a magical time of year in Clovelly, all in aid of raising money for the RNLI, Royal National Lifeboat Intuition. A charity which plays such significance within the community.
Starting at 4pm in the afternoon, a local brass band leads the procession down to the harbour, with festive Christmas carols sung along the way.
There will be a hog roast, hot dogs, Christmas grog and other refreshments available at the Harbour and Lifeboat Station, Father Christmas might even make a visit.
There will also be a grand finale of fireworks to finish off the festivities.
