With the January blues well and truly out of the way, here’s 5 things to get you into the spirit of February Half Term. No matter the weather North Devon is the perfect location whether you want to enjoy the sunshine, get wet and mucky in the rain, or enjoy the many indoor attractions. So pack your bags and enjoy a stay at The Barnstaple Hotel, located in an area of endless opportunities and fun for the whole family.

February Half Term delights in North Devon

Quince Honey Farm:

Why not get in touch with nature this February half term by visiting Quince Honey Farm? Located in South Molton, just a 20-minute drive from Barnstaple, this attraction offers 1500 hives and over 40 acres of land. Why not head to the honey factory for a guided tour and learn all about how bee’s make honey, or get closer to the action by popping by the bee shed where they host popular beekeeping demos? Where they give you a closer look into the inside of a beehive from behind a protective glass… Rather get a little closer to the action? You can get more involved by using gloves to reach through the enclosure. Children will be buzzing to find the hive adventure park, made up of soft play, outdoor play and critter encounter shows where they can get up and close with creepy crawlies.

Quince Honey Farm is offering an activity-filled day, each day of the week during the February half term. To top it off if you come dressed as a bee you will receive free entry, but do not worry if you don’t have any fancy dress laying around because they are also offering the opportunity to return free of charge to the attraction after the first day of admission fees.
