When you stay at the Barnstaple Hotel, you have complimentary use of our wonderful leisure club, which has been extensively refurbished over recent years and now boasts the finest facilities in the area. 

The outdoor pool has an extensive terrace complete with sunbeds, which makes a wonderfully secluded spot for sunbathing. Our Health and Leisure facilities include:

  • A lovely heated indoor swimming pool, open every day from 7 am to 9.30pm
  • A heated outdoor swimming pool which features a sheltered sun terrace with comfortable loungers (Outdoor pool is now closed, it will be open April - October).
  • State of the art Fitness Suite - with 50 pieces of equipment, including cross trainers, rowing machines, treadmills and free weights (18 years + only)
  • Relaxation Suite – with two heated stone beds, mood lighting and soothing music, this is the perfect place to chill out
  • 'His and Her' Saunas, where you can relax and unwind
  • Clean, modern changing rooms equipped with heated seats and monsoon showers
  • A full range of massage treatments - including Swedish massage, sports massage and deep tissue massage
  • The Aqua Bar – our stylish poolside bar which serves meals (selected hours), healthy snacks and drinks all day.

The Barnstaple Leisure Club is open from 7am - 9.30pm, seven days a week. Last entries are at 9pm.

Please note: Members must be 18 years or over to use the Fitness Suite.
